We are pleased to introduce our new dietary consultant,
Jenni Bendfeldt!

Jenni grew up in Nebraska and received a Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Science/Dietetics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She moved to Boston last August to continue her education at Suffolk University, where she is pursuing a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration. Upon finishing this program, she will also complete an accredited Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietitian.

Jenni has organized numerous nutrition education/promotion programs through school and as a Diet Tech at a Cardiovascular Hospital. Although the majority of her work has focused on heart-healthy diets, she is well-versed in working with all types of special dietary needs. Jenni's philosophy is that there is no such thing as "bad" food, but simply better food options specific to individual dietary needs. Her goal is to help people determine what foods can best fit into their diets that are enjoyable and beneficial to their health. She will be here to educate and answer any questions regarding food and nutrition in hopes of empowering others to take an active role and make smart dietary choices. We are very excited to have her on board, and hope that you will stop by and say hello at our next Nutrition Booth!

Jenni can be reached at nutrition@gometro.com

What Does the Well N Good Symbol Next to Some of the Soups Mean?
When a 'W' appears next to one of our soups, that indicates that it is a Campbell's Well N Good Soup, which means that it is lower in both fat and sodium. These soups allow you to enjoy all the rich flavors of a traditional soup without having to worry about nutrition. For details about each Well N Good Soup's nutritional content, click here.

Q. Hey Ashburton Cafe, what's with the flimsy containers?
A
: Ashburton Café has recently made a commitment to ‘go green.’ Our new containers are a more environmentally –friendly  alternative to the Styrofoam that we’ve used in the past.  While they may not feel as sturdy  as the old containers, this new version is compostable, which means that our waste makes less of an impact on the environment. We hope that you’ll join us in our commitment to helping improve our planet’s health.
